  • COMING SOON!!!!

  • Pilot Fatique by Pleasure Machine is an absolute excellent debut album release featuring the cream of the danish independent rock scene. Pleasure Machine has been compared to bands like Cure, Pavement, Kinks and Neil Young and 'Pilot Fatique' received loads of great attention as it hit the streets in 2002. The album includes 11 great indie rock tracks + a hidden surprise and features guest appearances by internationally renowned Sune Wagner and Sharin Foo from The Raveonettes among many others. This fabulous release is a 'must have' to your record collection. It's probably the best recording so far on the label !

  • "Happiness saves lives" is probably the strongest and most talked about debut album to this date. The album received massive attention as it hit the streets in the middle of the summer 2002 and Kira was proclaimed to be the greatest talent in decades coming out on the danish rock scene. - Due to the recent breakup (2007) Kira and the kindred spirits no longer exist as a band and Kira is currently signed to Chris Blackwell (the legendary founder of Island Records) and trip hop mastermind Tricky and their new label venture Brownpunk. Since their debut Kira and the kindred spirits released two more albums but none (due to not only us) to the heights as "Happiness saves lives". The album was recorded in legendary Sauna Studios in the heart of Copenhagen and in a country house in the northern part of "Devil Island" and includes not only great music but truly loads of blood, sweat and tears too. You can actually hear it and Kira is truly one of the greatest voices in modern times ! - "Happiness saves lives" is the foundation and the first release on Sublime Exile Recordings. In 2008 we are following up the forthcoming album by Kira (to be released on September 1, 2008 on Brownpunk) with a never before released remix version of the critically acclaimed "Losing You" made by DJ Varano. For your pleasure a preview version is now online in our store (track 12).

    Buy it - it's just great !!

  • the fakes take their inspiration from the pop sounds of Mazzy Star, The Sneaker Pimps, Cowboy Junkies, and other bands with cool girl singers. The sound is pop; sensual, dark brooding, with a fragile intense female vocal over stark guitars and intelligent electronica. What punk would sound like if it could be beautiful.

  • Racing Ape originally formed in 1999. Their self titled debut album hit the streets on September 2 / 2002. Two months later they were proclaimed to be the winners of the honorable '2002 Talent Award' announced by the National Danish Broadcasting Radio / P3. The album includes their hitsong and explicit 'Waterfall' video ! - After only two albums released, one by us, one by another, the band decided to split and the members are currently working on new projects. • This forceful acoustic release brings back the 8 vinyl tracks including 5 further re-recordings from the "In the Fields" and "Flammende Welt" period. The album appears as a whole, dealing with Forest not only as the place for Retreat and Consideration (Waldgang) but also as the place for Resistance and Change (Wende). • Isomer is the solo project of Australian David Tonkin, who remains one of the few active producers of dark ambient music in this far-flung continent. "Serpent Age" heralds a new stage in Isomer's progression, taking a decidedly more dark ambient approach than previous outings.

  • Bain Wolfkind's, Wasteland, CD EP, will be released by Hau Ruck! in August 2007. This will be Bain Wolfkind's fourth release on Hau Ruck! under this moniker. This release finds Bain Wolfkind treading a similar path to previous releases only this time much darker, autobiographical, tragic and southern than ever before! Purely a solo 'back to basics' release, guitar, organ, tambourine, maracas, voice and nothin' much else. Think Leonard Cohen, Townes Van Zandt, Steve Young, Hank Williams and Michael Gira in a Mexican flophouse with a cheap guitar, a case of tequila and a tape machine. www.myspace.com/bainwolfkind

  • After their impressive debut ("Le Feu Sacre"), May 2003 saw the release of the second CD by this revered French neo-folk outfit. "Les Blessures de L'ombre" contains truly distinctive military styled pop songs and ballads. It also has a few musical and emotional elements reminiscent of "Obéir et Mourir" (their rare, limited tape box set).

  • SONNE HAGAL's second full-time album once more bestows the listener with a journey into the unknown realms of poetry, mysteries and enthralling melodies. Closely connected to Europa's folk-music tradition and the Northern mysteries, the band develops song structures that reach from simple traditional arrangements to complex compositions. The songs, performed in German and English, reveal rediscovered poems as well as self-written lyrics. The atmosphere of the songs varies from intimate, quiet parts to fresher, light-hearted and lively sounds up to heavy distorted parts supported by real or electronic drums. Each song unfolds its own universe, interconnected by the central idea of "Jordansfrost": the constant changing between light and darkness, the seasons or even life and death themselves. A number of well-known international artists supports the band in their intention to create more than just music: a whole philosophy. Amongst others you'll find: Of The Wand And The Moon (DK), In Gowan Ring (US) Waldteufel (US), Ernte (GER), Lux Interna (US), Darkwood (GER) and Black Sun Productions (CH) The cover artwork uses exclusive paintings by Fabrice/Divine Comedy Records (FR) and underlines the depth and beauty of these 45 minutes of German Darkfolk. Special Digipak comes in three different artworks. (Luftschutz Entertainment/TESCO) Luftschutz 011
