A ‘friendly pop’ album that is both fresh and catchy but also at times slightly odd and kooky. It simply wants to make your acquaintance and get to know you and as such possesses a childlike innocence, demonstrated perfectly by the opening lines to the track Mudslide; I’m sliding down mud slides so thick, finding another person to dip in.
Ironically, it is this quality that also gives a naivety and vulnerability to the honey sweet productions, which the lyrics to Bus Boy beautifully surmise I trust you yet I don’t even know, my bus boy at the very last stop.
Early comparisons have seen her likened to artists such as Jack Johnson, Sia, early Bjork and even the more random accessible moments of Coco Rosie.
However, in truth Betty and her music would be more at home cycling in tandem through the cobbled Parisian streets of a Jean Phillip Jeunet film set as she is inspired by the idiosyncrasies of every day life in particularly people’s shy, awkward and quirky traits, having crushes, love, annoying people and being frightened.

Campsite Discotheque, the debut album of Gloria Cycles, is a gloriously quirky collection of twelve songs oozing with wit and charm, meaningful lyrics and blissful melodies, which twist and turn throughout, accompanied by blustery guitars and upbeat bass lines.
The track religious was featured on the soundtrack of this spring’s new British rom-com My Five Last Girlfriends, when the song Bag has been used on the hugely popular E4 smash drama Skins.
"A quite brilliant and inspired album."
"It's impossible not to love it."

Sorry For Partyin' is an energic, pumped-up and feel-good punk rock album. The fans of the band will not be disappointed by this 10th release, as the standard of the album is classic BFS, a perfect balance between comedy and music!
Sorry For Partyin’ also contains two superb power ballads with ‘Only Young’ and ‘Me With No You’, the latter being a surprisingly heartfelt and touching break-up song.
"Listening to this CD will not make you smarter, but it certainly may put a smile on your face."

All My Mistakes, released the same week as Teitur first UK album, The Singer, does a great job as an introduction the Faroe’s Islands’ finest musical export.
Praised by the likes of Rufus Wainwright, John Mayer (who has described Teitur’s way of writing songs as “jet fuel on the fire of a broken heart” or KT Tunstall, who compared his voice to "the sound of melting ice, haunted woods, and beautiful honesty”, Teitur (pronounced Tie-tor), is an extraordinary musician and songwriter.
His All My Mistakes album is a bewitching collection of songs, the filigree guitars and Teitur’s unique voice accompanied by the Scandinavian folk themes and the clever pop songwriting.
The songs are a document of his extraordinary journey from his home on the remote and isolated Faroe Islands to the United Kingdom, via Los Angeles, Denmark and a whole host of other countries in between.

Bowling For Soup release a special EP for their fans which preview a few tracks taken from their forthcoming 10th studio album ‘Sorry For Partyin’ to be released October 12th 2009.
The first track, ‘My Wena’ is a hilarious love song that only Bowling For Soup could pull off. With their trademark style of tongue in cheek lyrics, ‘My Wena’ is filled with double entendre references about the singer's girlfriend, Wena.
The video is equally hilarious and to celebrate its release, head over to the special application that allows you to become a part of the official music video for yourself – www.mywena.com/wenaface.
Or pick a person of your choice as the Wena Face!
