All My Mistakes, released the same week as Teitur first UK album, The Singer, does a great job as an introduction the Faroe’s Islands’ finest musical export.
Praised by the likes of Rufus Wainwright, John Mayer (who has described Teitur’s way of writing songs as “jet fuel on the fire of a broken heart” or KT Tunstall, who compared his voice to "the sound of melting ice, haunted woods, and beautiful honesty”, Teitur (pronounced Tie-tor), is an extraordinary musician and songwriter.
His All My Mistakes album is a bewitching collection of songs, the filigree guitars and Teitur’s unique voice accompanied by the Scandinavian folk themes and the clever pop songwriting.
The songs are a document of his extraordinary journey from his home on the remote and isolated Faroe Islands to the United Kingdom, via Los Angeles, Denmark and a whole host of other countries in between.

Teitur makes beautiful, poetic and heartfelt music that is devastatingly passionate. He possesses the unique ability to perfectly translate emotion into musical and lyrical masterpieces and has been described by KT Tunstall as "the sound of melting ice, haunted woods, and beautiful honesty," and his music by John Mayer as "jet fuel on the fire of a broken heart."
The Singer is Teitur's first album to be released in the UK and comes with an exclusive bonus track; My Only Companion. Opening track, The Singer, from which the album takes it's name has a heartfelt and poignant honesty that sets the tone for an album full of goosebump-bringing beauty. The Singer is an album that's paints vivid stories and bears an emotional range so rich it resonates with ageless humanity, all of which is complemented by the extraordinary and wonderful arrangements of marimba, piano, brass, reeds and percussion.

Catherine the Waitress is Teitur's eagerly anticipated debut single in the UK.
The song immediately hits you with its toe-tapping mixture of disco-‘Cello and rib-tickling Marimba, and in a better world would grace the airwaves indefinitely!
This ode to a beautiful waitress has been described by Music Week as "a wonderfully uplifting song with an underbelly of fragility that is compelling."
