Venezuela born Yani Martinelli played drums with garage band Piso 99 which transformed into Seasongs where she played guitar. Seasongs became a familiar name on the Madrid scenes, often performing together with acts like Alien in Love and The Winnerys. After leaving Seasongs in early 2005 she started writing songs for her new project, Navy Blue.
