"We are so secret that don't even know ourselves who we are" says Philemon. In 2002 they are still a secret and on constant demand we had to release the rest from the 1987 cassette and also dig in our archives for more songs. In their native tounge skånska thet continue to describe life in the countryside in the southern parts of Sweden....Musicians like bob hund and Hedningarna have recorded some of the Philemon's songs.

This is probably the most truly cult group in Sweden ever. Still after more than 30 years noone knows their identities (but us :-). Singing in their native dialect "Skånska" from the southern parts of Sweden and playing guitar, accordion, radiators and cookie jars this is music you can't help loving. The lyrics are deep but funny and the music is, well undescribable...they won a Grammy and after that the industry closed the Grammy awards for 15 years! As a protest. This compilation holds all of the first album from 1972 and half of the cassette that was released in 1986 packed in a tin can. Rock'n Roll!
