New York electro funksters 33hz are heading head first into the hot list of 2006. Their addictive blend of smooth 80s grooves and electro disco beats - just think Hall & Oates meets Stardust - will woo fans from across the commercial UK media through to the more discerning muso underground, with forthcoming filthed-up remixes by Christopher Just and Boxsaga set to send dance floors into flames. 'Crazy All The Time' and 'Hot Flashes' are coming your way soon. The biggest sound of next year.

''Berlin outfit The Jeans Team bring us the cool electronic funk of the addictive 'Nonstop Nonstop Nonstop'. Formed in 1995, The Jeans Team have won over admirers such as Peaches, Stereo Total, Doc Schoko and Kissogram, who have all covered their songs live on stage. The late John Peel was also a fan, having invited them over to the UK alongside Tarwater for a session on BBC2. Undoubtedly one of the most exciting bands to come out of Germany in the last five years.

'Dr Dre meets The Muppets with the world's first ever toy group. Formed in 1996 in the Berlin underground after a case of whisky and some old school hip hop tapes were discovered strewn across the city's most infamous toy stores, the Puppetmastaz have since performed all over the world, supporting the likes of The Goldie Lookin' Chain and Busta Rhymes, and recently rocked UK festivals the BIg Chill and Bestival. 'Do The Swamp' and 'Midi Mighty Moe' are the Puppetmastaz debut UK releases.' www.puppetmastaz.com
