After the autumn In Dark Woods EP (which in November was number one in Sweden toplist / midprice) Ida Long now releases her long awaited debut album, Walk Into The Fire. This past year, the Swedish singer toured widely both at home in Sweden, throughout Europe (Berlin, Paris, Amsterdam, etc.) and at clubs in New York. Ida Long's version of Mad World (theme song in an international award-winning trailer for the TV series Mad Men) and singles Hearts, Crash, Doll and Come Out and Play has been compared to, among other things Kate Bush, Tori Amos, Lykke Li, Feist and Björk - and in the January issue of the British Uncut compared a critic her singing with Madonna. The 14 tracks on the debut album clearly shows that Ida Longs expression is unlike any other. Ida Long is unique.

Channeling Fleetwood Mac’s musical styling’s with a hint of late-era Beatles, Family of the Year braid catchy melodies, stellar male/female vocals and personal folk tales to create some of the happiest and saddest music you’ve ever heard. The band’s classic musical style has been integrated with a modern fanbase that the band continues to create and release new music for.
Family of the Year self-released their debut EP Where’s the Sun on their Washashore imprint in September, 2009. The EP showcases a variety of Family’s music, and includes "Let's Go Down," "Castoff," "Summer Girl," "What a Surprise," and "Psyche or Like Scope. Where’s the Sun is available for digital download for an optional donation. Contributions went directly toward the release of the band’s debut full-length album.
In October, Family was handpicked out of 700 artists by Ben Folds and Keith Lockhart to open for Ben and The Boston Pops at Symphony Hall. Shortly after, the band flew west for California shows with Bell X1 before returning east for the CMJ Music Marathon, marking Family Of The Year’s New York debut. SPIN.com selected the band as one 25 Must-Hear Artists from the 2009 CMJ Festival.
In November, Family hit the road with Edward Sharpe and The Magnetic Zeros in support of Family’s debut album, Songbook, also available for optional donation. In January the band announced the release of an exclusive song every month through their e-mail list in 2010 as well as a new EP set fo...

LCTRISC call their music “Maximal”, which is explained as: “A crazy fusion dance music and garage noise. Guitar riffs cut into pieces in symbiosis with cheap drum samples and midi synths. And a banana shaker.”
Lenny and Leslie form the duo LCTRISC and have found their own way of mixing electronica with rock vibes, crazy playfulness, hooky guitar and synth figures and heavy beats.

In November 2010 Richard announced in his blog the band name The Unguided with a new logo design. He did not reveal the secret familiar individual however. Not until the end of November Roland was introduced as the hidden person in a nostalgic video featuring Richard and Roland working together once again for the first time since Roland parted from Sonic Syndicate.
