After winning Zane Lowe's 'Fresh Meat' Competition and achieving playlist status on XFM, the hotly tipped Reading outfit return with a brilliant second single.
The hotly anticipated second success by My Luminaries will not fail to build on the success that their limited debut single achieved and will firmly establish the band at radio as a force to be reckoned with and deliver their sound to a wider public awareness by targeting daytime playlists.
Following extensive touring in 2006 and a handful of supports that include The Infadels, Badly Drawn Boy and Radio 4. The band are gearing up for another headling tour of the UK in March to support this single release and build upon their existing fan base. My Luminaries manage to mesh a bundle of charm and spirit into cut throat anthems. Extensive touring and particularly recent support shows with The Delays and Badly Drawn Boy have seen the band building a dutiful following. Like a partisan military little My Luminaries communities have taken root across the country.
The new year will see the band fast anchoring themselves to that rare fleet of seminal British Guitar Bands.
