Sibiria's second album Inom familjen. Their best so far. Includes the single "Det har varit svårare" and 9 other hits. Recorded during a summer week at the island Rossö at the swedish west coast. Jingle jangle pop as it is done by masters.
"It's always hard when an album comes out at the end of the year, and how to judge it. However, it clicked with me with last weekend when I was riding on the train and just staring out into the space beyond the window. Winter is almost here, it's a cold and overcast fall day and Sibiria has just released easily the most devastatingly beautiful record of the year. Tracks like "Det har varit svårare", "Kompistjyv" and "Inte prata med främlingar" instantly struck chords with me; and the instrumental "Paria" is downright gorgeous. Actually, everything about this release is just beautiful. Congratulations Sibiria, you have created one of the best indiepop albums of the year."

The first single from Sibirias second album "Inom familjen". Features two b-sides not available on the album. There has always been a melancholy touch to Sibiria's songs, even if
the band sometimes come up with sprawling pop punches such as
"Ljusdal" and, from "Inom familjen", the new single "Det har varit
svårare". On the new album the recording process was far more
important than on its predecessor. Since Sibiria's three song writers
make their music in diferrent places and times and the distances makes
it impossible to rehearse, the feeling of still beeing a band playing
together was important. Therefore the recordings were made in a week
at a summer house om the swedish west coast. If you listen carefully
you will here the warmth and love that these days and these songs
recapture.
Sibiria sings in swedish but can be appreciated by anyone that likes Pop music.

The first album from Sibiria.
"Det är underbart beklämmande; jättefint och hjärtskärande på samma gång.
Norrlands inland är den vackert melodiska och osminkade verkligheten från en generation som ännu inte låtit tiden försköna uppväxtåren." - SVD
