Safemode, the rapidly growing screamo-rock band from Sweden started in 2007. At first they struggled to find their own sound, but after a while they developed a new, more heavier sound, which where really appreciated. They worked hard writing some great songs and to practice on their liveperformances.
In spring 2009 the band participated in the national music contest “Rockkarusellen”, where more than 600 band from all around the country attended. Safemode made it to the final where they stood up against the 12 best bands in Sweden. In the end there could only be one winner and with words from the jury as "excellent tracks", "speed and energy" and "great contact with the audience", Safemode stood as winners.
First prize was a tour in Sweden with 16 concerts, including a concert at the famous Arvika Festival, which attracted the attention of Swedish press, where Safemode received good critics. The prize also included a tour in Germany in October 2009.
With energy-filled live shows, fantastic melodies and great contact with the audience, Safemode becomes an outstanding live act, which must be experienced!
They released their first EP “We're Already Gone” in May 2009, which received great critics from the fans. The second EP “Die To Live” was released the 4:th of October 2009, which was like the previous EP with 1 additional track.
This is Safemode's debut album. A well produced hardcore album with smashing hits! The release tour starts in Sweden in August 8:th 2010 and continues to South America.
