    About Swinging Blue Strings


    Swinging Blue Strings is a quartet in the acoustic tradition of swing-jazz a la Django.
    Basically it also present the music that was popular in these days, but their ambition is to add some new own idea to it.
    At the moment the Band consists of the nestor Bosse Linné 61 on violin and vocal. He has a long reputation as a Jazz/Rock/Folk/Country-fiddler and has been a member of several successful groups in Sweden since the early seventies.
    Around him there are three young musicians with a skilful and promising ability. The lead guitarist Elias Lindqvist is already at 22 one of the best interpreter of Djangos virtuosity. His brother Linus 23 on bass guitar is as well a very swift and personal instrumentalist, and that goes for the other guitarist Tobias Tornkvist 24, who beside this appearance also is a good rock´n´roll singer!
    The group has now finished its first CD on the Blue Topaz Recordings in Malmö, Sweden
