    As Sweden experienced one of the worst and longest winters in history, Robert Bush spent most of his time in Bangkok, where Downbloused came to be. The sound and melodies are more poppy this time, with an oriental touch in the melodies.

    Robert Bush was part of the local music scene in Eskilstuna, Sweden where he was born, but moved out first to the West Coast and then to London, where he has continued to create music while keeping his part-time job as a Brewmaster/Head Brewer at the Grebbestad Bryggeri.
    - “Upskirted” has been my baby for the last two years, says Robert Bush. Wherever in the world I have been, the album material has been with me and I have found inspiration in the most unlikely places. It feels great to pass it on to my audience and let them take the record to where it belongs, and hopefully some new listeners will discover my music too. Just remember that we don’t dream in black and white!
    - I like old synth sounds; the way presets sounded in the beginning - ”cheesy and corny”, to use the words from the same time, …and melodies! I love melodies; a song without a hook can be cool too but it fills another purpose.
    “Upskirted” is the first record by Robert Bush not released on his own label.
    In 1996 he released a cassette entitled “Myrtorp EP”, in 2004 came “Probe EP”. “Smeby EP” came out in 2006 on a USB stick while 2007 saw 2 EP’s: “Leuvnais” and “SW13”.
