    Carpet People was formed in 1994, and since then this "soft-core" band have been followed by a devoted and, above all, growing crowd of fans within the Umeå music-scene. All along the band's aim has been to make music which consists of only the most essential components. Therefore working "backwards" i.e. peeling off what is superfluous in their original material is a method the band frequently use when completing their songs.The new Carpet People album is highly anticipated. Fans have been wanting more for 5 years. We have no doubt that their new album titled “More bad weather coming out of the rain” will take the band to a whole new level.
