    Coming almost two years since 2007's EXIT DECADES was released, NARCISSUS CAN WAIT shows a clichéful growth and a depth worth waiting for. Exploring ambient territory without being Eno and layered arrangement NARCISSUS CAN WAIT is a shorter polar cousin to its predecessor all the while still holding a brooding sense of pretension. This mini-epic is just what you'd expect from a band burning bridges for communal fun.

    NARCISSUS CAN WAIT was brought to tape (no, not actual tape) during the dull days of fall 2007 through January something 2008 only to see the light of day more than a year later. Some things need time to grow. Working with longtime friend and producer Adam Magnusson, CUT CITY dreamt up five compositions of tangible splendor.


    Some say NARCISSUS CAN WAIT will both satiate thirst and create hunger; poor souls will learn how to wait a little longer for another long-player (which might be due this coming fall). Some say time will tell.
