  • Dawn of Oblivion dominated the Swedish gothmetalscene during the 90’s through a number of performances, three albums and one EP. At the start of the millennium activities went down and the band took a break. Now they are back with 13 new and strong tracks collected on the album “The Final Chapter”. The style is, as before, varied and powerful crossover goth metal but the sound is distinctly the band’s very own. ”Behind Closed Doors” will do very well in radio while the opening track “Neptune Falls” and the succour punch ”Malice” are set to become future live favourites.

  • Dawn of Oblivion dominated the Swedish gothmetalscene during the 90’s but took an indefinite break at the start of the millennium. Now they are back with four new and strong tracks collected on the “Ikaros EP”. The new songs continue where the band left off, but are also a progression, a fresh approach to an earlier formula. Apart from the anthemic title track “Ikaros”, the gothmetal epos “Atomic Stigmata” also deserves attention and radioplay.
Ikaros was a demigod in the Greek mythology. He flew too near the sun and paid the price…

  • The album consists of 11 tracks, inspired and drawn from the band’s personal and emotional experiences. Varied, but similar experiences have brought about a strong and creative group consciousness. Outstanding tracks on this release are the aggressive ”Repulsion” and the single ”Haunted” - potential club hits. Other strong tracks are the opener ”Suicide” - taking over where German Dreadful Shadows left off - and ”Brain Drain”.

  • A four-track EP, released in 2000. Two new songs, "Haunted" and "The Hellfire Sermon", as well as rerecorded and reworked versions of two old live favourites, "Illusions" and "November".

  • Dawn of Oblivion are goth, metal and aggression and they are bloody great! This release shows that they master both slow, eerie songs as well as faster, rockier ones.

  • Formed in 1992, this is the debut album of Dawn of Oblivion. Released in 1994 it is the only release with the original line-up as the band split within a year of its release.
