With the release of the "Kompressor" promotional CD in 2003, Equitant's techniques delved deeper into a state of electro and retro sound-scapes. The use of vocoders and synthetic drums were now dominant, including a combination of minimal synthesizers and sampling influenced by past and present German electro.
