  • On the 8th of October 2010 Fatboy release their third album ”Overdrive” in Scandinavia + Finland. The first single taken off the album is ”Bad News From Pretty Red Lips” which is released on the 15th of September. Over the years Fatboy have built themselves a reputation as Scandinavia's rockabilly kings, which all started with their debut album ”Steelhearted” and the grammy nominated follow up ”In My Bones”.

Since their last album, Fatboy has concentrated hard on their songwriting and with ”Overdrive” they've been working with famous American songwriters - Sharon Vaughn and Kim Richey.

”Overdrive” was recorded during two hectic weeks early this year in the legendary Atlantis studio and in Mando Diaos personal studio Della Santa, with producer Mikael Herrström.

To add to the excitement of the new album, Fatboy will also perform their ”simlish” version of their song ”Dark City Sky” on the forthcoming game ”The Sims – Fast Lane Stuff”

  • First single from Fatboys new album "Overdrive"

  • Fatboy’s second album is long awaited since the release of their critically acclaimed debut “Steelhearted” four years ago. Since then the band has toured extensively across all of Scandinavia, performed in two feature films and also performed in the sold-out theater play “Lovestory” that was built around their music!

“In My Bones” is a record that will talk to your hips as much as it speaks to your heart. It attracts attention from all kinds of people and uses every possible human condition as an instrument. The bitter sweet ballads will crush your heart until it bleeds. The edgy country will blow off your hat and spin you around. The devilish rockabilly that glances’s at you and threatens with a knife. The pop music will make you want to close your eyes and forget the dullness of everyday life.

Here in 2008, the sixties are alive again. Duffy, Amy Winehouse and Sweden’s Veronica Maggio have discovered their parents record collections and go from success to success around the globe with sixties soul tasting songs that echo Dusty Springfield, Four Tops, The Supremes and any Phil Spector-production you care to mention. And they certainly do it well.

You want something truly genuine? Something with a feel for history but that is fashionably out of date. A combo that looks like it sounds, that isn’t afraid to laugh in the face of expectation, then one name stands tall – Fatboy.

  • This three-track single is the first commercial release in four years from Swedish rock/rockabilly group Fatboy. It is taken from their second album "In My Bones", released on the new label Fat State Production, distributed by Playground Music Scandinavia. The song is Fatboy at their core and is guaranteed radio airplay and won't make any fan disappointed.

  • The debut album by this 6 piece, contains a brilliant collection of new songs in the spirit of Chris Isaac. All produced by legendary musicians Heikki Kiviaho and Jorgen Wall (Ingo & Floyd, Lisa Miskovski, Whale).
