Describing IN THE SHADOWS you have to go like this, connecting agressivity, melody and balance to old school doom metal influences such as CANDLEMASS and CATHEDRAL besides the original heavy metal of BLACK SABBATH among others.

The band´s line-up counts on B. Jr (bass), David Livinstone (vocals/guitar) and Ton Antichrist (drums). IN THE SHADOWS shows in their music deep and heavy melodies, talking about human decadence and the eternal struggle between good and evil within their souls, fulfiled by hate and anger.

After the release of a 5-track EP (2002) and a 2-track demo (2005), the Brazilian musicians of In the Shadows have played all over the country getting a large number of fans. At the moment the band is focused on the music making of their first full length, to be realeased in mid 2010 by the UK label Death Toll Records.

The goth doom metal has its shades and they make the body of IN THE SHADOWS.
