  • LIFE ON EARTH! BECOME PROVINCIAL! By public demand Life on Earth! releases the live favorite Blomkraftens Frukt (Flower Powers Fruit) as a single! Last year was eventful for Life on Earth! with the release of A Space Water Loop and two trips to the U.S. and fine gigs in cities like Portland, New York and Brooklyn, and odd places like the cowboy/artist town of Marfa, Texas and under the red wood-trees at the classic Henry Miller Library in Big Sur, California. But the stone rolls on, and now we will release a single to chart new directions, for a while, we become Liv på Jorden! Now we release the hedonistic crowd pleaser Blomkraftens Frukt. Digitally, of course, but also as an exclusive vinyl singles in only 499 copies. And since we go from English to our beloved mother tongue; Swedish with this release, we also see it fit to engrave the social realistic self-employed anthem Knegareliv on the flip. But that’s not all! As an extra bonus, we are also add the story of Harald Hårfäste and Hassan-i Sabbah. This triple combo of songs can illuminate the darkest corners of the winter. Perfect both at the late winters party starters as well as the club's dance floor, but also as a comfort for the hung-over afternoons endless brooding or if the week seems too long and boring. Do not miss this unique offer to be happy and feel good for the rest of your life!

  • The follow-up to the acclaimed debut ”Look!! There is Life on Earth!”. The first album was something of a journey past summer green hills and skipping lambs; a celebration of the imperishable eternal beauty and a romantic observation of the world around us. On “A Space Water Loop” the telescope is turned inside out. The focus is on the captain of the project, Mattias Gustavsson's own world. Confusion and contradiction are found in the front stalls, visions of ecstacy next to battles with demons and defunct relationships. The drums are given more space, and a Hammond organ has found its way along the layered vocals and languorous string arrangements. But even though the sound has grown both harder and bigger, the album is a natural follow-up with equal parts sound experimentation, folk and classic psychedelic pop, based on an acoustic guitar. Besides Life on Earth!, Mattias Gustavsson, among other things, plays the bass in Dungen and is currently producing a coming album with Lisa & Piu. Other members of Life on Earth! are Martin Fogelström, Alexis Benson, Erik Lundin and Johan Holmegard (Dungen). On the album yet another ten or so guests help out as well.

  • Life on Earth! Is the talented multi-instrumentalist Mattias Gustavsson’s, from the Swedish band Dungen, solo project. Together with some fellow travelling kindred musical spirits (musicians from Dungen, The Works, Town & Country and Mia Doi Todd) he has created an amazingly deep and timeless album filled with shimmering vibrant psychedelic folkrock-pop. The basic idea is to make music that celebrates the incredible and absolutely wonderful phenomenon of life on Earth, hoping to spread some joy to any possible listeners. The project has been going on since 2003. Barefoot on tiptoe, in a bubble of magic, swirling elegantly among the stars.
