    Mathias Kaden’s „Maraka“ positions itself in the previously released EPs „Lucidas“ / „Myal“. The Multi-layered approach, continuously hypnotic melodies and sparse congo-driven groove form together the three pillars of the track. It’s all an atmospheric affair, bringging the audience much far from the nowadays usual perky, stripped-down sounds.

    The A side also features an exclusive track from St. Louis techno producer Butane. A dubby and detail-oriented minimal excursion, digging in the same direction as in his freshly released „Becoming“ LP. However „Into The Abyss“ reveals in its end an unexpectedly positive mood.

    On the B side, Permanent Mountain is an act of seductive simplicity, another masterpiece from Hello?Repeat high profile producer Daze Maxim. A strong peak time track and stylistic exercise at the same time, mixing his unique sleazy funkyness with a precise rhythmic mecanism.

    These three tracks definitely come within the scope of a post-minimal trend.
