What does Kenya and Brian de Palma have in common? Apart from great visuals it´s maybe not that obvious. Kenya? Oh yes, the origin of man, great safaris and of course, corruption. When the English left it to the Indians it became even more widespread. It´s quite sad really. De Palma, a poor director to be honest, has always had a fascination with the forces of corruption. The Untouchables, a masterful piece of entertainment though, dealt with just that and it also gave us some inspiring answers. If you want to kill corruption you have to be swift and ruthless. Don´t let anybody compromise or corrupt your work and keep your friends close. Applied to music that means you shouldn´t let anybody touch your songs unless you are absolutely certain that they´re on your side. If you're not sure, do it yourself. It pays off in the end.
