Oh Jollity
It’s happened fast for Oh Jollity from Gothenburg, Sweden. In September 2008 they started recording their two new songs “THE SLOW LOVE” and “I LIKE YOU MORE”. About a week after releasing their songs on Myspace they got awarded Band of the week at MYSPACE SWEDEN. An article published at their blog on Aftonbladet resulted in 400+ plays a day at their Myspace.
Oh Jollity is:
Pontus Fagerström – songwriter, vocals
Patrik Berglund – Guitars, backup vocals
Jon Höglund – Drums
Olof Gadd – Bassguitar, backup vocals

In Gothenburg Oh Jollity has been known as a great live act, always going All-in. Energy, presence and a joy of playing together has been said to describe it. Daniel Claeson at Göteborgsposten talks about Oh Jollity as a typical band representing the sound of Swedish indiepop 2008; “60s influenced rock with a relaxed, cocky singer. Clean guitars, Ahhh-choruses and a lot of melodies. A little bit of Kinks, Mando Diao and The Strokes mixed together.”
“THE SLOW LOVE” and “I LIKE YOU MORE” was recorded and produced by Pontus Fagerström. Mixed and mastered by Pontus Fagerström and Patrik Berglund at Seaside Music, Gothenburg.
