Bluebirds sixth album "Blast from the Past" is filled with 14 new songs.
The style of the album is a mix between an early Fabulous Thunderbirds and Nick Lowe.

The band is now almost back to the original setting, since the first album "Walking on Thrills",
that was released in 1997. On this album Petter Persson plays slideguitar and Magnus Jonsson
has dusted of his upright base. Peter Hamberg is the driving force behind the drums, and his shuffles are
bad to the bone. The singer and guitarist Patric Carlsons soulvoice, together with his bare, directly
guitarsound are better than ever.Johan Johansson on the piano/hammond is the only one in the band
now that was´nt there from the beginning of the band. He is although a well known musician in Jazz and
Blues-circles.Bluebirds genuine, musical sound has taken the band all over the world: Australia, USA,
Europe, and the Nordic countries.

Under a cuple of days in November -07, the band went to Strawberry Studios just outside Skövde to
record their sixth album live. All to get the right feeling and sound of the songs.

Bluebirds deliver a mix of: Lousiana Rck, TexMex, Cajun, Soul and Rthm ´n Bues. Musically the Bluebirds
has landed. Patric Carlson with the Bluebirds are back!
