    Penniless are back with a new single taken from their highly critical claimed album "A Cab to the City". The band have also given a few gigs lately and will travel to Latvia (Riga and Liepaja) in a short period of time. They are also booked for a number of festivals this coming summer (both in Finland and in Sweden), but that will be official news, where and when, later. All these activities has its background from the positive enthusiasm that has been followed over "A Cab to the City", so therefor we´re very proud indeed to present this single edit version of Panic for whom a video soon will be released.

    The fifth studio album by Penniless in the present composition brings you
    ten songs located in a city. In these songs you hear the beauty of sadness
    that sometimes gets you when you stop to think about the things you have
    seen, done and haven´t done, your life experience in a word. If you look
    for emotional music with bursts of aggression and loud guitars, this is
    your album! The youngest of the three Alisaari brothers in the band, Ossi,
    is becoming what the other members have expected of him since he joined
    the band around year 2000. An excellent composer with the charisma to lift

    Finnish Penniless is back with a brand new single - “Brothers”, taken from their forthcoming album, that is expected to be put out early autumn this year, by renowned label A West Side Fabrication. Those that already are familiar with Penniless will surely recognize their typical sound, where the hard sound meets the soft in their own unique style. In their portfolio they have so far released 7 albums (including three under their previously name Penniless People Of Bulgaria). And for your knowledge, this dynamic pop-quintette never sleeps on the chords, so they decided to celebrate this new single with two exclusive gigs in their home country, in Helsinki March 26th and in Pori April 1st.

    Folks, it´s time to present a new two track single, just available on the net, with Penniless. The single includes a previously unreleased track called "Sadderday", which certainly is a true Penniless track, no doubt about that. The other song "City birds" are one of the most power pop influenced songs on their latest album "The attraction". An album which, as we said before, have received great reviews in their home country Finland. Penniless will also come to Sweden this summer for a concert at Trästockfestivalen in Skellefteå, Saturday the 21st of July.
