  • "PET are really rather fabulous and could be the next band a little too odd to cross in to the main stream (see also Scissor Sisters)." DJ Magazine
'Rewind The Sofa Lady' is fresh, grown-up pop with an electronic twist.
Fusing together a melee of influences that see the band occupy a territory somewhere between the stoner psychdelia of The Super Furry Animals and the camp glam of the Scissor Sisters. PET draw apon the classic songwriting of artists such as Roxy Music and David Bowie but also the experimental sonics of Neu! and Kraftwerk enhancing them all with deft electronics and quirky beats.

  • Musical pilgrims from Bowie to U2 have sought out Berlin for its decadence, sleaze and storied nightlife, but Berlin based Pet's second record tells a very different story of the city. More sharp-suited cocktail-sipper than leather-clad rock’n’roll hedonist. 'Rewind The Sofa Lady' is fresh, grown-up pop with an electronic twist.
"Whip My Blue Chip" beautifully encapsulates what PET are all about... tight beats, quirky lyrics and infectious hooks. It provides a perfect slice of what is to come from their latest album "Rewind The Sofa Lady" and if your in need of something a little more sleazy... check out PET's alterego "The Stratojets" who crunch things down to awesome effect.

PET's single "No Yes No" (featuring the first ever remix by Gemma Hayes) served to introduce the band to national radio and specialist DJ's. It proved to be a great introduction with the band achieving play list at XFM, BBC Radio 6 and support coming from acclaimed DJ's such as XFM's John Kennedy and Eddy Temple Morris and Radio One's Zane Lowe, Steve Lamacq, Mark and Lard and the much lamented John Peel. Live sessions were recorded for both stations with PET being invited to perform at XFM's Xposure night at the infamous Camden Barfly.
