EN SE DE
  • This unique constellation features the meeting of two trios: One jazz, one Arabic, and the end result was LOVE! On this first cd, recorded live in Tensta, a suburb outside Stockholm, you hear this tremendous double trio burn together, and create movements in music. The trio friends playing on this CD are Mats Karlsson and the Al Fakir brothers Salem and Nasim.

  • Örjan Hultén Trio/Fakir Karlsson continues to create new music, mixing influences from household gods like John Coltrane and Anouar Brahem, with their own unique style. 7 new originals and an unorthodox version of a Turkish 9/8 meter puts the band on the map of musicians searching for the new thing.

  • Brilliant triojazz from three of Swedens most exciting musicians. Music in the tradition of Sonny Rollins and John Coltrane with an ambient and folky vibe. Örjan Hultén Trio went to Prästmon, Ångermanland in the north of Sweden to reconnect to their northern roots and to get the right woodland feeling. This new album, their first full length recording as a trio, was recorded in Hola on a bitterly cold winterday.

  • The second album from Örjan Hultén Trio, released in the fall 2008 is a tribute to the city. It also marks a change in the constellation's musical pulse. The recordings are taken from two live-sessions at the Glenn Miller Café in Stockholm during 2007.
