Moodswings, like many other debut records, could be said to summon up our musical direction our musical development during the years prior to the recording.

A former grungeband growing up and into a different genre, adding a lot of piano, harmonica, banjo, strings and vocal harmonies.



It�s a collection of songs which mixes older, rearranged demo tracks with more recently written material. Still it maintains, we hope, a certain musical consistency. It represents our understanding of alternative country-rock during those years, mixed with a little jazz, folk, pop and rock.

The name is taken from an old song that didn�t make the record, and symbolizes both the difficulties of keeping the band together and focused over the years, and the chaotic circumstances surrounding the recording sessions. The outcome, however, is on a more positive note.
