    Born in England, and growing up between here and Australia she began writing songs at five years old. At twenty-three Sophie Michalitsianos aka Sol Seppy moved to the States and not long after touch down received word that Mark Linkous of Sparklehorse had heard her music and wanted her to join his band for their tour with Radiohead.
    Now on her own feet Sophie is quickly finding a fan base for the album that has taken so long, not least because of the fact that her entire studio burned down, where all equipment and recordings fell victim to the flames...

    "Move" is the debut single from the heart and mind Sophie Michalitsianos, aka Sol Seppy.

    "Move"'s celestial romanticism glows in Sophie's enchanting vocals, reminiscent of Mazzy Star with a hint of the Cocteau Twins. Fuzzy, intense and heart-wrenching, the chorus sits in stark contrast to the delicate poise of violin-strewn verses and a laconic kick-drum, and delivers an off kilter folk-infused dream of a song.

    The CD also features "Bobbing Lie", a stripped-to-the-bone arrangement of harmonies and simple, clean beauty. The acoustic entrance gradually gives way to electronic guitar and another emotion-laden track you can't help but fall for, fusing her full range of musical skills to sultry perfection.
