EN SE DE
  • The Swedish duo The Deer Tracks returns after their enormous success with their debut "Aurora" that received massive reviews in more or less all heavy influential magazines all over Europe. "Prologue" is the very first embryo of an era that will soon exceed into a Trilogy called "The Archer Trilogy". The Saga begins here and now..."Prologue".

  • To go to Eggegrund felt like the perfect choice for The Deer Tracks in order to get new inspiration and perspective after the huge success with their debut "Aurora", and to regain some strength after their European tour with Patrick Wolf. Elins grandfather carried Elin and David, and all of their gear to the island in his old fishing boat during stormy weather and Davids computer broke down
immediately because of all the rain and moisture. The start of the recording could have been better but once they managed to get all the electronics into the cabin and hung their clothes to dry by the fireplace, the clouds lifted and a sense of rebirth vibrated in the air. This sense of perfection resulted in four new amazing tracks from The Deer Tracks which ones again proves that this duo is a unique force of nature that is hard, if not impossible to define.
"The sea and nature has always been in our thoughts when it comes to music and therefore we wanted to settle on this amazing island for a week. We went there in late August to experience autumn's oceans. The powerful waves that collided against Eggegrund stones surrounded us and together we created these songs." David & Elin / The Deer Tracks

  • The Deer Tracks is David Lehnberg & Elin Lindfors, both children of the Swedish town of Gävle. Despite their earlier success with respective projects (Leiah, Ariel Kill Him & Twiggy Frostbite), all roads led them into this electromagnetic mist of melodies.

Now streaming from this coalition is the tender sadness of the north, coated in its northern lights. Electrifying vibrations meets a gentle forest, where tracks of magic leaves shaped patterns. The castaway’s last hope, a message in a bottle drifting against the stream.

Includes exclusive track for the digital release.
