    Enligt traditionen (tredje året i rad) så ger vi ut en liten jullåt i all välmening. I år är det inga mindre än power-pop hjältarna The Drowners från West Side´s hemstad Skellefteå som står bakom bidraget "Happ new year". The Drowners som genom åren gett ut fyra album och massvis av singlar, varav "Summer break my fall" tillhör en av de absolut populäraste låtarna som vi någonsin har släppt. Deras musik har även getts ut på andra sidan atlanten där de också har uppträtt live vid ett flertal tillfällen. The Drowners är lika med power-pop när den är som bäst.

    Around a decade ago we did release a couple of great power-pop acts. One of those where The Drowners ("Summer break my fall", "Fake R&R personality", "Teenager" etc etc) which we actually sold to a record company in the US. After that The Drowners have been struggling along and now, all of a sudden, we come to an agreement to pick up the long lost contact. To begin with, since the time seems right, we will first of all release some kind of a "Christmas-single" called My candle. Hopefully we will have more material from this great power-pop act in a short period of time.
