    Artist: The Kind Of Bitter

    The Kind of Bitter was a project more than it was a band in the traditional sense. It consisted of 4 musicians that were all engaged in other rock bands usually playing more or less aggressive and hard rocking music. But when these 4 musicians joined forces in The Kind of Bitter the beat slowed down a little, the volume was turned down a bit and the aggressions were put aside for a while. The Kind of Bitter explored the more quiet sides of rock music. But with great intensity and melodic feel. In November 2002 The Kind of Bitter started recording songs for their debut album. The band rented a cottage in the country side of western Zealand and recorded and produced everything themselves. The band preferred this way of working because of the quiet and inspiring surroundings as well as for the possibility to work free of any disturbance from stressed out engineers or producers.
