EN SE DE
  • Originally published as a limited edition 10" record in 2004 by the Italian label, Old Europa Cafe. "Three Living, Three Dead" is a conceptual album inspired by a medieval woodcut bearing the same name. Herein, The Soil Bleeds Black have prepared three songs each relating to themes of life and three songs each relating to the portents of death.

    * Featuring a guest appearance by Italy's Francesco Banchini (GOR / Ataraxia)

  • Originally published by the German medieval label Lichtbringer, on limited color vinyl. TSBB recorded this limited edition record with new original songs along with other traditional tunes. The neo-folk sound of "Quintessence" meets the pure medieval style of "Mirror of the Middle Ages" on this release.

  • The ‘quintessential’ album from TSBB consists of five neo-medieval folk songs, each based on the alchemical elements of earthe, air, fyre, water, and quintessence. This fifth album of theirs showcases the longest songs ever recorded by the band and accomplishes a sound unlike any of their previous musical efforts, while still maintaining their standard of medieval atmosphere. Considered their "neo-folk" album, this release is filled with rich lyrical intricacies and lush acoustic instrumentations.

  • "Alchemie," originally published by the (now defunct) UK distributor, World Serpent. This new edition features re-mastered and newly embellished versions of the original songs along with several bonus tracks. “Alchemie” is a conglomeration of songs based heavily upon the medieval occult science for which the album is named. The album also features other songs portraying Arthurian legend and the bravery of knights on the battlefield. The well-known Swedish ambient artist, ARCANA, make a very special guest appearance on the track, “Lapis Philosophorum.”

    * Guest Musician: Peter Petterson (Arcana) - vocals, keyboards

  • The sixth full length album from TSBB presents a combination of contemporary and traditional pieces representing the Middle Ages. Their most medieval work to-date.
