  • The 2nd Djur And MIR compilation is even until today the only official release that gives you SMKs classic mayhem closing number "Kasta Sten". Togeheter with pulverizing acts like Din Stalker, Psilodump, Bolivar, Häxor & Porr and Bandit Revolver this is happiness in its purest form. Like an abortion in the ear.

  • The very first Djur And MIR compilation where every track is like a meatball of gold. The only release ever featuring SMKs "Efter Doktorn". Released April 2004.

  • Contains all the punksingles from Sundsvall released during 1979-80. Most of them impossible to find nowadays. 39 songs in 79 minutes. A lot of classic tracks!

  • We wanted to do something special for our 20:th birthday in 1999. It would have been easy to do a "best of" and add some unreleased stuff. But we are not interested in easy solutions.

Therefore we embarked on a interesting and exiting project. All the existing and active band of the label were going to record a cover on, either the old bands on the label, or one of the other active bands. We also searched up eight of our since long time split bands. They was to record one of their unreleased or forgotten songs.

All bands got one day in the studio to record the song. The result was a very special record. And it was great fun to do...

  • The birth of Swedish punk have been documented in both Stockholm and Gothenburg but nothing outside these cities.
The labels Birdnest and Massproduktion joined forces and gathered all the known and unknown hits from this period that come out of the vibrant punk/new wave scene that flourished outside the big cities during 1978 to 1982.

  • A fantastic document of metal in the North of Sweden in 1993. You can find Jon Jefferson Klingberg (later Whale) and Robert Eriksson (later Hellacopters) and Kjell-Erik Eriksson (Triakel and Hoven Droven) in Celeborn and Janne Wiklund (LHS and The Kristet Utseende) in his first band Unholy.

  • The debut Ep with The Confusions and Funny Farm. A combination that toured a lot together. Really early stuff.

  • Orginally a promo-CD sold for the price of a single presenting all Massproduktions releases in 1991.
    Still a bargain!
