  • Vacuum have just spent a couple of weeks in a cottage on an alpine mountain top to write and produce several tunes with the Austrian pianist Michael Zlanabitnig. Together they have created music as magnificent as the view from the studio!

The first taster from this session is a double A-side single ”Know By Now”/”My Friend Misery”, the latter a duet with Marcella Detroit (Shakespeare’s Sister).

  • The previous Vacuum single Six Billion Voices was a great success in the east! This calls for a follow-up and Vacuum know how to deliver and surprise us all with the brand new track Walk on the Sun! We get an up-tempo song with more of a rock feeling than we've grown used to, but what an interesting turn it proves to be!

The single was composed and recorded during some intense studio sessions in April 2007. As Vacuum says: "The way it was written, recorded and produced was an explosion. A ride!"

The package also includes X and Y remixes of Six Billion Voices by the renowned remix team Credhead.

  • "Six Billion Voices" is Vacuum's most personal work to date. Beauty is the key and the song was naturally born after a year of writing/producing for other artists and touring/promoting their own album "Your Whole Life is Leading Up to This". To Vacuum "Six Billion Voices" serves as an energy filler, something to summarize their recent history. Be sure to also check out the b-side "Preview". Like a dogma film, it's created in the moment with one-take rules.

  • "The Void", by many considered the best track from the album "Your Whole Life...", is finally a single! Don't miss the super cool remix by FilterFokker (whos previous work includes The Ark, Weeping Willows, Roxette, DJ Aligator, DJ Encore, etc).

  • Grand pop melodies, cool grooves, gothica, and infectious big beats. Ranging from the up-tempo, super-electro of ""The Void"" via the pop anthem ""They Do It"" to the bittersweet guitars on "Fools Like Me". "Your Whole Life" is a journey well worth taking.

  • Vacuum forego their new album with the fantastic song "They Do It"! Add to the surprise, the return of long gone K, a.k.a. Krister Linder a.k.a. Chris Lancelot a.k.a. loads of aliases, in a stunning duet with Vacuum's lead singer Mattias Lindblom! And, of course, a mix for the night time action packed dance floor. Enjoy!

  • Originally released only in Russia and the Ukraine, Vacuum's second full length album, "Culture of Night", came in a slightly different edition in 2002 through SubSpace Communications. On this updated version, the track listing holds the single tracks, "Starting (Where the Story Ended)" and "Ripples on the surface", along classics such as "Let the Mountain Come to Me". An album of great synthpop symphony!
