    "Festum Melancholia" is Withering's follow-up to their previous full length album, "Gospel of Madness." Withering have been paving their way through the metal underground since the late 1990's while carrying strong musical influences from early 90's melodic death metal artists like Sentenced, Amorphis and Paradise Lost.

    "Festum Melancholia" offers up four new tracks and two interludes by the two core members of the band. The group are inspired by the culture of their country, Finland, and the country's heavy metal roots show throughout Withering's compositions.

    "Festum Melancholia" is being published on CD format independently by the band, whilst Metalhit.com is handling digital representation for the release.
