    XsavioR, a Swedish progressive metal band, began their journey when drummer/demon producer Daniel Flores (Mind’s Eye, The Murder of My Sweet) and virtuous rock/fusion guitarist Benny Jansson (Tears of Anger, Ride the Sky) recorded Benny’s third solo album “Save the World” together with legendary rock vocalist Göran Edman (Yngwie Malmsteen, John Norum, Time Requiem, Karmakanic etc.).
    The three veteran session musicians turned out to have a lot in common and decided they needed to create new original music in the style they all loved – progressive metal!

    To complete the band they ended up recruiting keyboardist Mathias “Matt” Norberg, Daniel’s best friend since childhood and a natural choice for this crew, and finally bass player Mathias Garnås, another friend of Daniel’s from music school and that had proven to fit perfectly after his work on the “Save the World” album.
    XsavioR was born and they immediately started to write and record the album “Caleidoscope” that got released in 2005 across Europe and Japan.

    XsavioR merges influences from metal, progressive rock and even pop and plays a fresh, innovative brand of progressive metal. If merging Dream Theater, Queensrÿche, Symphony X, Queen, Manfred Mann, Genesis, Rush, Styx and The Flower Kings the result might just be XsavioR.
