  • Pinto is back with a new absolutely free single.

Armchair Anthropologist is a short anthem for all of us who tend to talk about the problems of the world from the great viewpoint of our comfortable living rooms, just an armlength away from the humidor.

Some say Pinto sounds a bit like a weird Tom Petty,
an insane Ben Lee or a swedish REM.

It cost you nothing to check out if they are right.

  • This is the much talked about recording project from Richard Wilson of Racingpaperplanes fame. This mini-cd (first in a "thrillogy") contains 3 songs in the vein of folk/experimental/alt. country. Samples and weird echoes aside gentle strumming guitars and vocals.

Review from Delusions of adequacy "The solo recording project for Richard Wilson (Racingpaperairplanes), Ghost Sessions has a ghost-like quality to it. Think experimental touches given to folk music. Theres a sense of breaking apart quiet, folky, singer/songwriter material and offering a kind of stripped-down approach. But then theres added back a kind of experimental, ambient texture that gives the songs their unique flow". Also listen at myspace.com/ghostsessions

  • The second mini cd in this "thrillogy", by Racingpaperplanes main man Richard Wilson. Features guest performances from american friends BOO HISS and GRUMPY BEAR. Also listen at myspace.com/ghostsessions

  • Future That I Leave is the new single from Hanif's forthcoming second full length album. The band's soft and thoughtful americana has rendered in more great reviews than sold cd:s. Due to Hanif himself the single sounds like an average Radiohead song with the dignity of Red Hot Chilipeppers.
