Andreas Magnusson är en popsnickrare med massor av känsla och rötter. Pinto är hans sidoprojekt från alt.countrygänget HANIF som är stora lokala favoriter. I Pinto tar Andreas ut svängarna lite mer, experimenterar med elektronik och utmanar sig själv. Men melodierna och rösten är fortfarande hans främsta signum, här bland annat i en sensationellt snygga duetten Iron & Rust med Anna Järvinen från underbara Granada. Likt namnen Andreas Mattsons prisbelönta och hyllade comeback förra året så verkar Pinto-Andreas hitta snabbare till melodierna när han fått sitta hemma i sin vrå, och följa sina egna instinkter. This is the much talked about recording project from Richard Wilson of Racingpaperplanes fame. This mini-cd (first in a "thrillogy") contains 3 songs in the vein of folk/experimental/alt. country. Samples and weird echoes aside gentle strumming guitars and vocals.

Future That I Leave is the new single from Hanif's forthcoming second full length album. The band's soft and thoughtful americana has rendered in more great reviews than sold cd:s. Due to Hanif himself the single sounds like an average Radiohead song with the dignity of Red Hot Chilipeppers.
