Josefina Sanner knows how to sing herself all the way to the heart of the listener.
The music is inspired by peers like Joni Mitchell, Kathryn Williams, Ron Sexsmith and Kathleen Edwards, while the lyrics is like bittersweet written postcards from a close, but still, faraway land.
Even though she sings in English, you will find plenty of that almost trademarked Scandinavian melancholy and low-key-drama in her songs.
- I must admit that almost all of my songs is about longing, memories and reletionships that went bad, Josefina says.
"Josefina Sanner" is her debut album.
