“OD #2” is the second single from Steso Songs’ debut album “Now it’s dark” that was released February 17th on the label Lyckan.

The songs of Steso Songs’ debut album Now it’s dark have been written during seven rough years. In the spring of 2009, Karolina Stenström went to SXSW in Austin, US to play her dark piano songs. Then she went on to San Francisco “where i stared into the sun at day-time and played at bars at nights and loved life for several days in a row for the first time in my life. As soon as I came home I started the recordings in a parking house in Gothenburg. Kalle von Hall from Bad Cash Quartet produced the songs. “
February 17th, the album, with the single “The Worse” was released on Karolina Stenström’s own label Lyckan. In march she’ll tour together with Josh Rouse in Sweden.

DN 4/5 - "Samtidigt är inte ”Now it’s dark” nödvändigtvis en särskilt svår skiva. Kanske att göra men inte att lyssna på. Stenström kontrasterar alltid texterna med musiken, vill hela tiden dämpa de allra hårdaste fall med de mjukaste melodier och från botten se uppåt mot ljuset."
