Overview of the Shop Admin Pages

Your Shop Admin Pages are the center of your download store and where you do and monitor all things concerning your download store (uploading your releases, monitor sales, check your accounting, create WidgetShops and more). This is your download store and your Shop Admin gives you full control of it. Below is summary of all the different pages of your Shop Admin and the things you do there.

[ 1 ] Home
Home is, as the name implies, the starting page of your Shop Admin from where you can access all the pages.

[ 2 ] Shop
In the shop section you will find all your company info and this is also where you set your shop live by checking the "Visible" box. This is also the place where you can change your "Password/Username" and "Accept/Reject Shops", if you have been invited by an external shop that wants to sell your releases. On the shop page you can also edit the "Categories", "Custom Genres", "Price Groups" to fit your own demands and requests

[ 3 ] Widget Shop
Klicktrack's customizable Widget Shop is a flash-based version of your download store. You can customize it exactly to your liking in terms of size and colours to fit your, or your artists', websites, blogs or MySpace pages. You start by selecting one of our default presets and modify it to how you want it to look. You can create almost as many different WidgetStores as you wish making it very easy to make separate stores for all your artists' websites, blogs, and MySpace pages. When you are satisfied with a preset the code for this WidgetStore appears in the "Code to paste into web page" field. To get it on your websites, blogs or MySpace pages you copy and paste this code into your websites, blogs and MySpace pages. It's as easy as that.

[ 4 ] Releases
This is where you upload MP3s, images and meta data into the system to create releases for sale in your store. You start by creating a "release" by clicking "Releases" and "New release". Then you enter the fields on the "release page" and click "Update". When you have done so you have created a release and then you click "Edit Tracks" to start uploading the tracks for this particular release. When uploading tracks you can either choose to upload track by track directly in your browser or you can use FTP software to upload all the tracks at once for a release to our FTP server and then select "Use FTP Home Folder" on the "Edit Tracks" page when you are entering the tracks for this release. Now you choose the tracks from a drop-down menu. This is usually a much faster way of uploading the tracks (see the manual for more info).

[ 5 ] Sales
On the sales page you will find real-time and always-up-to-date sales statements every time you log in. Monitor all tracks/releases you have sold the last month, week, or in the last ten minutes.

[ 6 ] Accounting
On the accounting page you will find all your accounting statements when they are created. These statements are the source for the invoices you send us. You can, at any time, download and check your accounting statements from here.

[ 7 ] Log Out
Quite obviously this is where you log out when you're done working in your admin pages.

[ 8 ] Multi Account Access
If you are the administrator of several shop accounts at Klicktrack you can easily switch between them with this drop-down menu.

[ 9 ] Newsletter mail list
Your customers can sign up for newsletters from you. Here you can download a list of their e-mails which you can use when e-mailing newsletters. This way you stay in touch with your customers and build a close relationship with them.

[ 10 ] Release import
If you want to import many releases in bulk at once you upload them to your Klicktrack FTP account together with a "Klicktrack Excel meta data sheet" and then use the "Release import" functionality. This can also be used to import aggregator content. If you are interested in using this functionality please e-mail us for more info and to get the "Klicktrack Excel meta data sheet".
