Bleak, misanthropic, depressive black metal with blurry guitars, clean ephemeral bass and plodding, relentlessly pounding rhythms that create a very dark and ghostly atmosphere. Lyrics about the forest, fog and nocturnal desires. Contains a brand new recording along with the very rare 'Isle Des Mortes' demo from 1997. Striborg is one of Sunn0)))'s favorite Black Metal artists. A big inspiration/influence on the recent 'Black One' album, and one of the tracks on that album was named after Striborg mainman Sin-Nanna.
