Amoth is a unique epiphony from Helsinki, Finland. The band combines influences from traditional heavy metal, progressive metal, thrash and even jazz alongside classical music to their blend of elements that is their debut album entitled "Crossing Over", which is released thourgh Inverse Records 5th of October 2011.

The band's intelligent fusion of progression inside metal created a full-lenght album that to themselves is the embodiment of perfection. "No compromisses were made, not with the music, nor the lyrics", tells Amoth's guitarist and composer Tomi Ihanamäki. The band lists Dream Theater, Iron Maiden, Testatament and Steve Vai as givers of inspiration.

Amoth has previously released an EP entitled Wounded Faith, that received overwhelmingly positive feedback from the bands peers and the underground progmetal scene. This is reflected in the reviews that the band got from metal mediums as well as the success of their social media platforms. This is as real as music gets!
