1. Radius backwards, all our favorite sounds (and reverb).
2. Karachi's got enough air to inflate an Intex.
3. Markus' computer broke.
4. A deep but yet nervous version of Cecta, for lazy Sundays with hangover.
5. Andycap's take is amazingly familiar, but completely different.
6. "That's not death metal house, that's fucking noise!"

This is the sequel to the vinyl 12” - Commuting Colour. Six remixes of the original tracks “Cecta” and “Radius”. Every remix is a work of art in itself. Standout tracks over the top. Not really meant as a whole. More like a shivery haze of mixed up calculations and adventures in the unknown. You can dance but you just can’t move to this.
It’s taken too far. This is the end of the line. Boeoes Kaelstigen teams up with newcomers from the next generation. This is people not responsible for what they are up to and they are letting us face the consequences. Hailing from Germany, Russia and Kenya, we gather large parts of the world here in this commuting experiment.

This month’s Dmitry Fyodorov track is not an ordinary banger that unconsciously makes you jump and break the trampoline. This one deals with the serious matter of cryptographic. MD5 - one of the most used cryptographic hash functions on the internet and its great successor SHA 1. Let the cryptographic battle begin! MD5VSSHA1 was made back in the dark ages when Dmitry Fyodorov’s undead spirit toured world in search of chaos, destruction and beer. It’s been freshened up so it doesn't smell that bad and leaves those nasty tracks behind.

This one is also released on 12” vinyl.
This is a vinyl for the fans. You get one new massive track to blow your mind. One new exclusive track for this vinyl, that reminds you of times when the acoustic guitar was Gustaf’s best companion. And two of the classic The Fine Arts Showcase-tracks, that you just need on vinyl.
This is a vinyl for the newcomer. You get one track that gives you a hint of what you’re up to in the future. One track that makes you feel special. And two tracks that introduces you to the world of The Fine Arts Showcase.
After the well acclaimed “Radiola” in 2006 and the cover album “Sings Rough Bunnies” in 2007, The Fine Arts Showcase now returns with their Quadruple A side 12” EP ”Friday on my knees”. The Title track, which will also appear on the yet unnamed forthcoming album, is a claustrophobic love song that is reminiscent of early Dinosaur jr, Orange Juice and Sonic Youth. But it is also true that the echoes go even further than that. You can hear the roots back from NYC 1975 in the sweet twin guitars and distorted bass lines.
”Heaven to me” is an acoustic 3-minute wonder with just an organ and a guitar accompanying Gustaf´s trademark vocals.
”Modern Love” originally written by The Rough Bunnies and taken from the tribute album, is a song about a one night stand and one of the groups best songs, that goes for both The Fine Arts Showcase and The Rough Bunnies.
”Chemical Girl” from ”Radiola” is a hazy song about romantic deception brought on by chemical indulgence. The track has found its way to the Spanish cinemas via the film “8-Citas” and is as we speak, somewhat of a Mediterranean hit.
The Fine Arts Showcase is an eclectic rock band from Malmö, Sweden. Led by the visionary songsmith Gustaf Kjellvander and backed by Joachim Leksell, Dan Englund, Fabian Ris Lundblad and Mathias Oldén. In the spring of 2009 we will see their 4th album hit the longing shelves.

”Alla städer ska tömmas/Alla gator glömmas bort”
Sonic om Jonathan Johansson:
”Ett himmelskt poplöfte”
Pitchfork om Jonathan Johansson:
”Yes, there’s more than enough room in your life for another sensitive Swede reviving early-1980s new romantic sounds, especially if said Swede has heart firmly clasped to sleeve and hand reaching so valiantly to heaven as Jonathan Johansson.
On ”En hand i himlen” (which translates to ”A Hand in Heaven”), the Stockholm-based electronic artist, whose debut is slated for February on Hybris, harnesses soft vocals and dreamy synths (think A Flock of Seagulls’ ”Wishing”) to a particularly dramatic electric drum and a pulsing bassline (think New Order’s... any song). The son of a preacher, Johansson
spent three years recording songs in a bunker to get the right sound. ”In hand i himlen” is nothing you’d call new, but damned if he doesn’t make it all sound freshly autumnal, another ideal song for another overcast day.”

Hyper Plastic is a one-man band consisting of Rickard Johansson who used to play guitar and write songs for the Swedish indie band "This Perfect Day" in the nineties. This time around he is alone and the sound is much more electronic and rougher, and more in the vein of the music Rickard grew up with (like Gang Of Four, Suicide etc) in the eighties.

Norma's music is a mixture of ambient, kraut, noise, electronica, indie often with a strict, repetitive bass/drum pattern and a magnificent, wide and almost hypnotic sound. This is rich, panoramic music with a warmth that you don’t hear often from other bands trying to do something in this genre. German kraut is one obvious thing, but also the spacerock of Spiritualized and Spacemen3 comes to mind. Newer references may be Silverbullit, 120 days, Serena Maneesh and the Lionheart Brothers.
Some words about Book of Norma:
"Ok, Ok, OK …… So I know I said a week, but this album came my way this week by Swedish group Norma, entitled Book Of Norma. It’s more than a stunning debut album, it’s bloody fantastic! It’s like sex on your stereo. Hope you’re getting how much I love this album."
Mark, Rock Sellout
"Dark, haunting and absolutely brilliant new single Waste by Swedish trio Norma."
Stytzer, Hits In The Car
"Like a weirdly obvious and dreamy mix between Neu!, Soundtrack of Our Lives and Sigur Ros Swedish Norma descends from the music heaven. Book of Norma is complete genre anarchy where vulnerable melancholy is efficiently mixed with electronic soundscapes and minimalistic krautrock steam machines generating a feeling that never want to stop."
Christian von Essen, Skivkoll.se
