The legendary band Björns vänner split up in 2004 but as all legendary bands they keep releasing records anyway. One year ago in April 2005 they released the late compilation "Får ett egent liv" and while they where at it they decided to do some late shows as well. This is a recorded concert from "Chokladfabriken" in Malmö the 24th of April 2005. It contains a couple of tracks never before officially released. Here you can hear the classic show-opening-song "Peter Peter" and the first track with the name "Leva som en munk". Besides classic tunes. Visit there website for a turn in the crazy riots in the guestbook! http://bjornsvanner.mine.nu/newSite/gbook/gbook.php

This is a cover of the Weezer track "Across the Sea". Better and in Swedish. Mixed by two different persons. JTK = Johan T Karlsson, BS = Björn Stegmann. Witch one do you like the most?

No less than three tracks made it to the radio play lists from this EP. First of all the most obvious hit Björns vänner ever made, the title track "Alexander Lukas". A Stax soul pop song about a lucky duck. Or is it? Then there is the cover of the old Motown favourite "The Tracks of my Tears", here in a Swedish version called "Ser jag ut att må bra?". Press referred to singer and text writer Richard Schicke as a genius for this one. Then there is the driven "Mörkröda tomater". I can count three refrains, one after the other- They just roll over you and makes you capitulate. And if you have the chance, don't miss the opportunity to see the video for "Alexander Lukas" one of the best from here. This EP is now sold out forever.

This is by the band considered the best album they ever released. The story of the band is over and this is the epitaph. "Björns vänner får ett eget liv" contains the first legendary EP "Kvar på film" (with new better mastering), some early singles only released on CD-r, new versions on before released songs, old demo versions, and completely new unreleased tracks. Among them, two of the absolutely best songs ever from the band "När jag får ett eget liv" and "Snart kommer floden".

"Mörkröda tomater" was the first single from the last album of "Björns vänner". This is the single version remixed by Johan T Karlsson (JTK). A song about nicking tomatoes at the groceries and find that the girl behind the counter has red lips. I can count to three refrains one after the other. They just roll over you and make you capitulate.

The first release by Björns vänner. A classic EP, now long gone and sold out. Recorded as a demo but, as in many cases, the demo feeling is the best. One of Swedish singer Marit Bergman's favourite EP's (if that is something to brag about, maybe it is?). Not a political statement as much a statement of growing up and wondering what love is. The song "Åkrar och himmel" is perhaps the most popular song from the band ever. And the song "Stoppa porren" is the only song we know about that a comic writer made a cover off.

A boogie pop song with a very special theme. First single taken from the album "Tappat halva hjärnan", here in a more convenient version. This one makes you wanna bicycle around town. The second song is only released here, in this version. "Eden som jag svor" also appears on the album "Björns vänner får ett eget liv", we prefer this version.

It was fuss in the studio while recording this, the first album from Björns vänner, and it shows in its most positive way. Versions cut in desperation and in the rawest originals. Even an early demo of "Flicka, vad är det du vill mig?" found its way to the final round. What I mean is that this one will sound fresh forever. One track that needs extra attention is the beautiful "Isoleringskväll". The album is partly produced by a friend to the band - Christian Kjellvander.
