What if you kidnapped Pete Townsend, Iggy Pop and Otis Redding, put them in a small cabin, force fed them cheap beer and greasy food, and – under the supervision of Josh Homme – made them solve the great rock’n’roll riddle? You might come up with something similar to the diverse, yet straight-forward, soundscapes of Swedish power trio Black Belt - big fuzzy guitars, fat ass bass, rolling drums, dirty denim, sweet soul and tons of swagger.
With one foot running the working class meanstreets of the sixties, the other foot placed firmly in the black soil of the south, Black Belt proove that it’s still possible to create a stir by rolling that old rock in yet another direction. With their largest production to date, the band both roars and crumbles, whispers and cuddles – although they never lose trace of the chorus-driven nerve that made them a name in the first place.

Road Crew is the first single taken off Black Belt's second album "Two Minutes to Midnight". As we have learned to expect from this power trio it's loads of big fuzzy guitars, fat ass bass, rolling drums, dirty denim, sweet soul and tons of swagger.

The B-side track "My Love" is exclusive to this single.

Hold on, the first single from Black Belt second album, takes you on a train ride to a sky scorched by envy, desire and sin. Sweden?s hardest rocking barefoot trio is back with a title track that delivers all out rock?n?roll in a mirror ball package, featuring lead vocals by both Martin and Joen. Second song Noose showcases a more laidback side of the band which was hard to find on their debut First Blood. Compared to last time, the energy isn?t in your face all the time, it?s a bit more subtle.

Take a table spoon of NY punk and a hint of Motown soul, some drops indiepop and a proper hand of seventies hard rock and you will come close to the explosive sound on this magnificent rock album.

A great little hard rock treat about breaking up which will keep you coming back for more. The first single taken of their debut album "First Blood".
