    It is now more than 2 years since the release of eMiL Jensen's last album “Orka då”. Many people have eagerly been waiting for new music from one of Sweden’s most pressing artists. Much has happened since then and it shows on this, his third, studio album. Together with new musicians, new studio and new producer in Lars Halapi, Emil has created an album that is both easier to dig in and harder to let go. It’s an album of full intimacy and intensity. Low, soft and so sincere, with a touch of elegancy.

    Det är nu mer än två år sedan Emil Jensen släppte sitt förra album ”Orka då”. Många är vi som väntat på ny musik från en av Sveriges mest angelägna låtskrivare. Här har ni första smakprovet från hans nya album som släpps i höst. Låten, som är första singeln därifrån heter ”Så får du mig ändå”. Alla som följde Emils cykelturné genom Sverige förra sommaren minns den som, den nya låten, som avslutade hans föreställningar med orden:

    ”Är det ännu en sån där låt om olycklig kärlek?”
    "Nej, det finns ingen olycklig kärlek, det är bara alla idioter som inte vill ha en som gör en olycklig. Men kärleken är alltid lycklig, så skyll aldrig på den."
    Låten, och tillika hela nästkommande album har fått sin skrud av Lars Halapi, som tidigare har klätt bl.a. Sofie Zelmanis låtar i varma filtar.

    "Så får du mig ändå" är det ärligaste, spräckligaste och vackraste Sverige kommer att bjudas på i sommar. Det är en tonsatt varm morgon, en blottlagd tanke utan eftertankens fega invändningar. Befriad från förnuft får vi här en kärlekslåt som leder oss genom hela Emils sommarturné. För ingen sommar verkar vara komplett utan Emil på en scen nära dig.

    I år är det Lars Winnerbäcks redan stora turné som har utökats med ytterligare en scen där bl.a. Emil och Miss Li kommer att uppträda.

    This is the second single from the album "orka då" from eMiL Jensen. In classic Adrian Recordings manner we thought that we should give you something more than just a single. We took the opportunity to make a real ad hook EP. An EP that opens up eMiL Jensens career and stretch the boundaries of his artist ship.

    "Maj förra året" is the track that has been most motioned in reviews of the album and yes it is memorable lyrics. "Gått mig i blodet" is right now considered the best track Emil ever recorded, and it has strength and edge. "Familjen Himmel" sounds like something David Lynch would sync to a deserted forest; and it is also the only track released featuring his first solo band.

    Just to put two remixes on an eMiL jensen release is quite offensive. My guess is that there is a crowd out there that can't stand this; maybe I'm prejudiced towards his fans but... as always just listen. Do you like it? If no!? oh... Well!? All other; Take your car or bike and drive around with those in your ears.

    "Naken ner på knä" is taken from eMiL Jensen's album "Kom hem som nån annan". Nick Drake gave birth to it but it was brought up in Detroit with STAX as mother and Motown as its father. It later eloped and found Marcus Cato. The B - side is the song "Hela vägen ner", that was the first single from the album. Here in its first version, called "Hela vägen ner (gamla vägen)".
