    Familjen took us by storm and then the whole world followed. By the time the single with the same name as the album was released, Familjen was not just for a few. The grapevine had travelled through the world like a forest fire. Setting the internet on overload. The reason is this song and the accompanying video.

    On this vinyl single you find a radio edit. Convenient in many ways, just as funky.

    The B – Side is an exclusive new track called “Feber”. Only featured on this release. On lead vocals, Ninsun Poli with the house arm up in the air and the house piano ready steady kicking on the dance floor, just like the 90’s all over again.

Gladly enough for everyone Familjen is playing all over this summer, you can’t miss him. Let the sun rise to Familjen. Unite the nation with this bitter sweat head shaker. Take on your biggest tank top and head for the tables. Close your eyes, sweep away.     ”Kom säger dom” was the teaser from Familjen’s debut album ”Det snurrar i min skalle”. ”Kom säger dom” touches ground in the 90’s dance anthems and voices from soul space. Made for the dance floor but with lyrics implying something broader. The second track “Det vet du” is harder, darker and builds up to a regular synth solo straight from Night Rider. The third track “Ordning” is exclusive for this single and a perfect instrumental track for racing through the night.

    This was the first release in the collaboration between two of the finest label in Sweden - Adrian Recordings and Hybris. Familjen was from this point our common project.

    We started off with a very special release. We was trying to take the concept of web releases one step further and really use the internet like a regular phonogram. The single was released via the new registrated site www.detsnurrariminskalle.com (the name taken from the lyrics from the Familjen track “Ivanhoe & Rebecca”.) On there you find the art of artist Ljudbilden & Piloten (AKA Kristoffer Ström) and all the tracks for download, for free. Some of the tracks are hidden on purpose. The reason is that we try to change the way that people use the internet. By telling people that you will find seven tracks for free on the site if you search, we try to get people to stay longer on the site and really enjoy the art and the music that you find there. People tend to stay shorter and shorter on websites and the feeling is that web material is not so important. Besides being wonderful music and art it is also a statement towards the light-weight-look upon music and art that internet is creating.

    Upon that we also took the release out on the streets and into cafés and stores that we liked in Malmö, Göteborg and Stockholm by making a carton sleeve for the release. If you wanted to you could then make your own regular CD by downloading the tracks, burn it on a CD and put it in there. The sleeve also served as a flyer.

    Hög luft is an instrumental dance track both suitable for the dance floors and armchairs. Remixes differs, from The Fields minimal noise techno to the house of Air Bureau and Bauri, via an acid jazz feel of Fujasaki and the deep minimal dark trips of Mikael Stavöstrand.
