I�ve heard that the second album is always a tricky thing to make and I have to admit that I agree. Sirkus was a hard record to make but it wasn�t because I didn�t know what songs I was going to use or how they would sound. It was a hard record to make because of practical things that sometimes interferes with the creative process such as money and time. We started recording in August last year and we we�re done just before Christmas. I wanted to make an album that felt a bit like the Circus arranged in two acts: first act is the songs 1-7, track 8 is an instrumental part and track 9-15 is the second act. We recorded most of the songs live and I wanted the album to feel like a show of some kind with many different stages and characters.
