  • The second single from the album "I Miss You, I'm Pregnant" became a whole EP with no less than 5 bonus tracks, besides the pop tune "Aussie Girl". The second track "Truck Driver" is perhaps the best Laakso song Adrian Recordings ever released. Just listen to the drum intro! It only takes you one second and then you're hooked. To get the right feeling on the track "Words are Worst" producer Jari Haapalainen first recorded the song in the Dubious studio, then took it home and recorded it back and forth from regular old cassette tapes four times before he took it to the mastering studio. That's one of the reasons that we think Jari is one of Sweden's best producers.

  • This is the astral hymn that bears the name of Laakso. This is one of the most bombastic songs ever. It could make the sun rise the greyest day. The third single from Laakso's album "I Miss You, I'm Pregnant".

  • The first single from the "I Miss you, I'm Pregnant" album was the overwhelming "Demon". It's a catchy scream sing-a-long song and a really nice statement against all of those who thought that Laakso just where an acoustic singer/songwriter band.

  • This is in one way or another nothing more than a masterpiece. Laakso's debut album is a glowing black diamond. Combining the beauty of the sole arctic landscape with the dark city neon pulse. Produced by Jari Haapalainen (Concretes, Ed Harcourt, Bear Quartet) and recorded by Christoffer Lundqvist. The songs are recorded live with a minimum of overdubs. 18 tracks on 2 days in a furious tempo, all according to the band and producers ideal of trying to catch the songs in its purity. There's something with Markus voice that will make you loose sleep. Stay up all night, watch the stars or get really drunk.

  • This is Laakso's first release ever. We wanted to have one pop song on the EP - it became Long Beach - one longer slightly darker song - Out of Taste - one in finnish - Vesi - and one acoustic one - Aino. In this way this EP really represented all the different sides of Laakso by that time. Even though Laakso is a noisier band today, I must say that I believe that the song "Long Beach" represent everything that Laakso is. I think the girl in the song is the muse that kicked off Laakso and maybe still gets them going.
