On "Late Night Call" the intense Pocketful sound is more electronic and experimental than ever before, but the band still find plenty of room for their signature shimmering guitars and soaring trumpets.
Make no doubt, this is Pocketful's most dazzling release to date and definitely aims straight for the listener's heart.

Johan Engström - Guitars
Joakim Gralén - Words on "Words"

”Sparkling Revisited” is a downloadable selection of highlights from the Pocketful debut album from 2005, "Sparkling". The four tracks mark the beginning of the unique, mellow Pocketful sound. "Don't Know Much" and "Before the Bullfight" (David Sylvian cover, only available on www.klicktrack.com & www.ovanbeck.com) are both characterized by their sparse arrangements and haunting intimacy, whereas "Sparkling" and "Behind Thoughts (2001 Remix Version)" show more of the electronic approach that has become one of Pocketful's trademarks.

Pocketful celebrate the arrival of 2009 with the release of the six-track EP "Ambiguous Signs", the band's second release on Ovanbeck Records. Pocketful fans will recognize the bitter-sweet, atmospheric sound in songs such as "Wrong" and "A Hint of What is Missing", but the disco grooves in "Voices" also show that Pocketful are not afraid of introducing new influences in their music. Guests include vocalist Therése Oresten and trumpet player Jan Rellmark.

Pocketful are back with a four-track EP. This is their first official release since the CD "Sparkling", which came out in 2005. The songs stretch from the two guitar driven tracks, "A Sparrow's Mind" and "Desire", via the beautiful and laid-back duet "The Final Song" (featuring Therese Oresten on vocals) to the slow, ambient piece "She Won't Steal My Thoughts Tonight". These four songs bring you all the ingredients that characterize the Pocketful sound – the strong melodies, the groovy beats, and the melancholic atmosphere.
